Three judges serve a prison sentence in a low security facility in USA for various crimes they have committed during their careers.

During their stay in prison they continue their criminal career by scamming people via mail.

They  get in contact with their victims by publishing advertisements in different gay magazines. When someone answers the ad, they investigate his financial affairs and when agree the victim is worth of it the scam begins.

But one of their clients is more than a just lawyer or a doctor. The client is much more important than they have initially realised.

At the same time the CIA trying to influence in the presidential elections is involved in the affair.

This legal thriller was written in 2000 by John Grisham.

John Grisham is a well-known writer of legal thrillers. He has written many novels as the "The pelican brief " ,  "A time to kill", "The Chamber" and other.

I'm not ussually a fan of thrillers but when I saw the book in the library bookshelf  I decided to have it a go.

I have to admit that the novel soon gripped me. The scammers conitnuing their fellonies from their   prison cells and also the involvement of the CIA creates a story that soon hooks the reader.

I definitely would  recommend the novel if you want a story that captivates you.
